I have been reading for a long time. Not sure exactly how long, but as long as I can remember I have enjoyed reading books. I remember going to the local city library or to the library a city over. We always had library books in our house as well as our own books that were always in the house.

Some of the books that I remember reading are Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, Anne of Green Gables and many others. Every time we went to the library I would get new books and now I am helping my children learn to love books as well.

My first year in High School I took a science fiction class and one of the books we read was Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. Ever since that first time I read it it has been one of my favorite books. To be honest it is the only book I remember reading in school that year. I cannot recall any of the other books that we read.

I have read that book a few times since then, and have tried to read every book from the series plus the Shadow series. All of them are good books and I enjoy all of them. Ender’s Game is one that I recommend to anyone I meet who is looking for a good book to read.

While I have read all of the individual books published from these series, I have also read any other book I could get from the Author of these books. I feel that Orson Scott Card is a wonderful writer and I enjoy reading his books. I really enjoyed reading his Pathfinder Series even though it is more for a younger group of people.

Another author I have enjoyed reading is Jim Butcher who has written the series about Harry Dresden. I have read five of these books and plan to read the rest of the books. Also, I have listened to his book The Aeronaut’s Windlass and enjoyed it. I have been waiting for the next in the set. My husband is the one who turned me onto this author and the Harry Dresden books.

I have listened to The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss and have added those to my favorite’s. I am waiting for the third in the series to be released. Again I heard of these books from my husband, and listened to them because he had them on his Audible account where I could listen to them.

I am sure there are many more books I could add, but I cannot think of what they are. Besides the fact that I cannot remember the names of other ones I enjoy I only intended to list a few of my favorites and I have done so. I do not have a judgement on the age of intention of a book or set of books.

If you have not read any of these books I would highly recommend you read them. They are all fantasy type books and some even have some science fiction themes to them.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite books are and would even be willing to give them a chance, so please let me know some of your favorites.
